One Step At A Time
My theme song: One Step At A Time by Jordin Sparks.
Hurry up and wait
So close, but so far away
Everything that you've always dreamed of
Close enough for you to taste
But you just can't touch
You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting
[Chorus]
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time
You believe and you doubt
You're confused, you got it all figured out
Everything that you wished for
Could be yours, should be yours, would be yours
If they only knew
You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kind of impatient waiting
[Chorus]
We live and we learn to take
One step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time
When you can't wait any longer
But there's no end in sight
It's the faith that makes you stronger
The only way you get there
Is one step at a time
[Chorus]
Take one step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a time
[Chorus]
One step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly
Or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's
Supposed to happen that we
Find the reasons why
On step at a timeLabels: Song

Chocolate Fondant
I have made 3 chocolate fondants today. 2 big-size and 1 small-size. What a feat! My 1st time making chocolate fondants but its recipe is very easy. I ate 1 big one myself and I find it not bad. At least the recipe works. :) Sorry! No picture of the chocolate oozing out. Wanted to take them but the cake ended up very messy (my fault). I will take a picture the next time round. Add some ice cream and voila! Your hot and cold sinful chocolate fondant!
Chocolate Fondant RecipeIngredients:
- 100g of Chocolate (unsweetened)
- 60g of butter
- 3 whole eggs/4 small eggs
- 100g of sugar
- 50g of flour
- Small amount of chocolate powder
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter, using microwave or water bath (approximately 4 to 5 mins)
3. Whisk the eggs and add in sugar slowly. Whisk the mixture till light and fluffy.
4. Sift the flour and add to the chocolate-butter mixture. Mix well.
5. Add the eggs to the chocolate-butter-flour mixture. Mix well till the mixture becomes smooth.
6. Coat the muffin cups or ramekins (6 or 7inch in diameter) with butter, followed by chocolate powder. Fill the muffin cup/ramekins with the mixture. Make 5 servings.
7. Bake them in the oven for approximately 6 mins.

Friday Date Night
@ Tom Palette (Beach Road) & Basil Alcove (Bencoolen).
Back to Basil Alcove again ever since the last Xmas dinner, this time is at its new location although at the same building. Preferred the past dining experiences. The food has met its usual standard for taste and presentation. But this time, we no longer found the price very affordable and it is definately not justifiable for its location and non-aircon environment. :(
It has also been ages since we visited Tom Palette. In the past, whenever we were in town, we would normally find ourselves wandering around and ta-dah.. ended up at Tom Palette for ice-cream. Just bought us a tub of Granny's Favourite, Choc Stout and Coffee 2 weeks and we finished it immediately on the same day. Such gluttony! But it's simply too good for us to resist. :P
